They’ve been spotted traveling together in various places: first in Los Angeles getting sushi, catching a concert in Israel, and then spending time together in Paris. But are the Fifty Shades Freed actress and the Coldplay frontman really dating?
According to Dakota’s father, Don Johnson, yes they are!
The 68-year-old former Miami Vice star basically confirmed that his daughter is exclusively seeing the Coldplay singer after he was asked about Dakota’s love life during the National Television Awards. Don joked:
“Yeah, that’s… uh troubling, isn’t it? No, she’s a big girl, she can handle herself!”
The 28-year-old actress and the 40-year-old rocker were first linked towards the end of 2017. A source told Us Weekly:
“Dakota and Chris are definitely dating. They’ve gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It’s more than just a fling.”
Chris Martin was previously married to actress Gwyneth Paltrow for 10 years with two children, Apple and Moses. Gwyneth is set to marry Glee producer Brad Falchuk this year.
