Ctrl + Z

Sixteen emerging Multimedia Artists from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde  join together for Ctrl + Z, a multimedia collective that seeks to inspire contemplation and possibilities.

Ctrl + Z aims not only to present the students’ best work in their respective fields of specialization in multimedia, but also to provide them with an outlet for their unique views and perspectives on epiphanies, regrets, what-would-have-beens, and memories.

Ctrl + Z is a technology-laden option. It is an easy way out. It is a guarantee that making mistakes is not a problem–it is undoing what was done. Exploring both the possibilities and the irrationality of this convenient option, Ctrl + Z boasts to parade a retrospective yet fresh take on having regrets and making realizations. Through the utilization of different media such as graphic design, video, animation, interactive authoring, photography, and installations, exhibit-goers are sure to delve themselves into an immersive and entertaining environment.

Ctrl + Z will feature works of Alexis Angulo, Makee Beringuela, Dustin Chong, Janzen Chua, Bernadette Co, Jan Dizon, Miguel de Dios, Donna Escarcha, Eliza Francisco, Ruth Madrid, Jariss Manlapas, Alexa Manlangit, Nash Napud, Justine Nifras, Alexandra Pangilinan, and Bea Villanueva. The group is under the close supervision of their adviser, Hansel Gonzales.

Ctrl + Z opens on November 15, 2013, 7 PM, at the LRI Design Plaza. Anticipate performances from indie acts Identikit, Paranoid City, Library Kids, The Strange Creatures, and Adrian Ortega. Admission is free.

Spend your weekend in a different light as Ctrl + Z : A Multimedia Exhibit runs from November 15 (Friday) to November 17 (Sunday). Ctrl + Z is co-presented by Shulong Shoes Philippines.
