We had just arrived at Hong Kong Disneyland and we were more than excited! We wanted to try the Disneyland rides, see the Disneyland park, meet the Disney characters and go on an all out Disney shopping spree. Before we could do all that though, we had to eat, and there’s no better place to eat like Disney royalty than at the Crystal Lotus Restaurant.

After being amazed by the awesomeness of the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, we strolled over to the Crystal Lotus Restaurant, of which I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about.

This award-winning restaurant offers outstanding cuisine from four major culinary regions of China: Sichuan, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. Specially created Disney Dim Sum is available too!

And yes, they had me at Disney Dim Sum!

The Crystal Lotus Restaurant is the signature dining experience for Hong Kong Disneyland! Only here can you encounter the most elegant and finest cuisine while in a setting of luxurious elegance!

We had an absolutely exquisite 7-course lunch menu selected by Mickey Mouse himself, to show off the true tastefulness of the Crystal Lotus Restaurant in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.

Roasted Suckling Pig with Cucumber and Sweetened Paste in Steamed Piggy Mask Buns

Little Pig Barbecue Pork Bun

Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Bun

Mickey’s Seafood Glutinous Pancake

Double Boiled Chicken and Conpoy Soup in Petite Coconut

*ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! My favorite among favorites. This quickly turned into my all time favorite soup. The blend of the coconut perfectly complimented the double boiled chicken broth, turning it into a sweet and flavorful concoction worthy of no less than complete tasteful bliss.

Wok Friend Shrimp and Disney Root Vegetables

Red Braised Pork Loin stuffed in Whole Chinese Pear

Fried Rice with Tasmanian Crabmeat Stuffed in Whole Crab Shell

Chilled “Mickey’s” Red Bean Honey Pudding and Chilled Mickey’s Green Tea Jelly accompanied by “Chicken Little “Steamed Lotus Seed Paste Bun.

At the end of it all, we were not only completely enchanted by the food but also absolutely thrilled by the experience of it all.
