Countryside Christmas Fair at GK Enchanted Farm: Eat, Shop and Have Fun!
On December 15, 2013, Gawad Kalinga will host its Countryside Christmas Fair at the GKÂ Enchanted Farm in Angat, Bulacan.
More than just a fair, the Countryside Christmas Fair is a showcase of Filipino ingenuity and generosity. This Christmas, proceeds of the Countryside Christmas Fair will go to rebuilding 5,000 roofs and and constructing 20,000 new homes in Central Visayas.
To create an exciting line-up of concessionaires, Gawad Kalinga has partnered with the Municiality of Angat, which will bring in some of Bulacan’s best crafts and delicacies.
Gawad Kalinga’s agri-based social enterprises will exhibit their products and provide hands-on demonstrations on how to make cheese, chocolate, plush toys and brewed tea. Human Nature and GKonomics will also be joining the line-up of concessionaires for this special event.
Program will begin with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the GK Enchanted Farm’s Archangel Center at 9am. Social enterprise demonstrations, farming activities, games and many more exciting activities will take place in the various facilities of the GK Enchanted Farm.
The GK Enchanted Farm will be open to the public on this day from 8:30am to 4:00 pm. Entrance for the Countryside Christmas Fair will be for free.
Special rates will apply for tours, social enterprise demonstrations and farming activities.
