We have all gone through our own personal struggles during this pandemic – and that wasn’t any different for Naomi Ng. Naomi started in the fashion industry as a stylist after graduating from SoFA Design institute and eventually started her own label, Naomi Ng Designs, which is known for tailored yet fun formal suits. During her four years of experience, she has dressed some of the iconic stars of Manila, such as Catriona Gray, Lovi Poe, Kylie Versoza, Alden Richards, and Xian Lim. She has also participated in different fashion shows here in the Philippines.
Additionally, she took up Interior Design at the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) and is currently building up her small interior design studio, Kōyō Studios.
As successful and fulfilling as her journey has been, however, all of that changed when the pandemic hit. Naomi has been dealing with anxiety and depression for over five years now, and that became even more difficult to handle with the pandemic. Add to that a breakup and the death of her dog, and you can just imagine how hard and heavy things became for her. “I was broken and so depressed to the point that I couldn’t function at all,” Naomi opens up.
But then, one day, Naomi got inspired to make a loungewear clothing line – “one that feels like a warm hug to comfort you through the bad times and make you shine through the good times” and “one that you can wear at home and also when going out”. “I learned that a healthy outside always starts from the inside,” Naomi explains. That’s how Luna & Omi started.

“This is like a passion project for me because I want to promote self-care to every woman out there who feels lonely or going through a rough time,” Naomi adds. “Also, I want to advocate mental health awareness to those who don’t have any idea about it.”
This makes Luna & Omi much more than just a clothing line. It is about life essentials that grow with you, inspire you to be the best version of yourself, and radiate positivity into the universe. Luna & Omi is a project that was brought into life as a part of Naomi’s personal journey with mental health and self-care. Their pieces are thoughtfully designed and range from loungewear to home essentials and even pet bandanas for your furry friends.
As if that weren’t enough, they have partnered up with Pawssion Project where 10% of the proceeds will be donated to them -definitely a brand with a heart!

After all, Naomi is a designer and brand owner with a lot of experience under her belt, so she has made it a point to go through a long process of trial and error before landing on her final products. Luna & Omi also has an essential oil line, which came to life after Naomi found herself in a tough place and learned that essential oils can recharge the mind, body, and soul. We can’t wait to see what other self-care products Luna & Omi will develop in the future.
