What to expect in this year’s Click Play Festival?
Hello, internet innovation! In a snap, the online world opened a big stage to accommodate talents of any kind. From YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Vine and more, these social media applications became avenues for people to think and share out of the box!! This is why Karpos Multimedia excitedly gathered these artists for one spectacular festival experience!
Presented by Sun, Click Play will take you from behind the screen to behind the scene as it showcases talents across the social media spectrum. It’s the first of its kind in the Philippines so needless to say, we’re all first timers here! But not to worry, because the 22nd of November will be all sorts of foolproof and fun based on this rundown:
Artists from Screen to Stage
Get to know the artists from screen to stage! Click Play’s first lineup announcement featured Ryan Higa, who recently passed his 15 million subscriber mark. Popularly known as NigaHiga and best known for his comedic vlogs (video blogs) and short films, Ryan is one of the most awaited YouTubers to visit Manila.
Maze Runner actor Ki Hong Lee will be joining the festival as well! Lee stars as the lead runner ‘Minho’ in the movie The Maze Runner and The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. He is also a recurring actor in Youtube channel Wong Fu Productions’ short films.
Witness a sweet come back from singer-songwriter, and YouTuber, David Choi who will once again serenade the Manila crowd with his soothing voice and melodies.
Another Youtube act joining the lineup is Cimorelli. The Cimorelli sisters, namely Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren and Dani, also create content about fashion, beauty and general life inspiration apart from their popular cover songs and original music.
Last but not the least, Vine Stars Sam and Colby are also hopping in the festival experience! Witness their hilarious and quirky acts live. They’ve prepared only the best for their Filipino fans… So get excited!
In between sets, Click Play takes you behind the scenes of today’s successful local content creators: Pepper.ph, Where To Next, and Neon Island. Learn how they took their brands to the next level—all thanks to social media.
