LOOK: Chynna Ortaleza Empowers with No Filter Photo of Plump Body with Scars and Stretch Marks

For Chynna Ortaleza, 2019 was a tough year. It had affected her mentally, emotionally, and physically—and the effects took so much toll on her body. But instead of being ashamed of it, she bared her body with pride on Instagram to show off her strength.

Eto yun. Pagkatapos ng pag aruga ng 2 supling sa aking sinapupunan ng tag 9 na buwan (This is it. After bearing two children in my womb for 9 months each),” she began in her post.

She then shared how her body had changed after giving birth to her second child, whom she lovingly calls Nukie, and getting her gallbladder surgically removed due to Chronic Cholecystitis.

May stretch marks pa na regalo si Nukie Mamon (Here’s the truth. My underarms are dark, the curves of my waist aren’t perfect. I have stretch marks too, gifted to me by Nukie Mamon),” she continued.

(And after giving birth to him and taking care of him for two months, I went back to the hospital to give birth to my gallbladder. RIP to it. I couldn’t take it. And it hurt so much. OA. I said that I’d rather give birth 20 times than feel the pain of Chronic Cholecystitis. I hope none of you experience it!)”

But through it all, she felt so empowered by her strength in overcoming all the challenges she faced.

Bilang TAO. Buhay na buhay ako at nagpapasalamat na araw araw ay may panibagong gising. (If you ask me, I feel my strength more right now. Not just for being a woman, but by being HUMAN. I am alive and I am grateful to wake up to a new day every day.) I am bombarded yet I stand,” she said.

“Thank you Lord sa buong 2019. It was the hardest and most painful year in my life. It was also the most beautiful for my soul.),” she added.

What a strong, empowered woman! Cheers to you, Chynna!
