Christine Allado, who currently stars in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s HAMILTON in London’s West End, is coming to Manila on July 21 for a one night only concert at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila.
Christine is currently playing the dual role as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in West End production of Hamilton. She previously starred in the Olivier Award-winning musical IN THE HEIGHTS at the King’s Cross Theatre, as Maria in the BBC production of the 60th Anniversary of WEST SIDE STORY, as Turandot in Tete-à-Tete Opera’s production of TURANDOT: REIMAGINED, and many more West End productions.
She also performed with Andrea Bocelli in Manila 2016, and was a featured artist in his Cinema World Tour in Europe: London, Scotland and Slovenia in 2017, and recently last June 2018 in Prague.
Christine also holds an MA in Music and Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
This concert will also feature Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, UK guest conductor Richard Beadle, and guest artist Paolo Montalban, a Broadway star who appeared in THE KING AND I and CINDERELLA.
Aside from this world-class showcase, the concert also aims to support the Mission & Vision of the Missionary Catechists of St. Therese (MCST Sisters), Tayabas Quezon, where a portion of the proceeds from the concert will go toward this worthy cause.
