I have always fancied the New York kind of restaurant – the kind that we normally see in movies. The pleasure of taking every bite of the waffle or sandwich, and staring at the busy metropolis, with the sound of honking, people passing by and chattering, and just that cozy feeling while living in the city make everything a complete scene in a movie. I have always felt it that way. However, I never thought it would be as gleaming as one restaurant in the heart of Bonifacio Global City.
Chelsea Grand Cafe, as inspired by Chelsea Market in New York, has recreated a whole dining experience… well, at least to the Filipino taste. With long-glass windows, a homey facade, and slight touches of reds, whites, and blacks make it all legit. I just can’t believe I can live the New York kind of food experience here.
The style and design of the place have a homey feel. The visibility of how the food is prepared and the ingredients make everything cozy. It doesn’t feel restrictive like other fine-dine restaurants.
