Calling all cookie monsters!
Everyone close to me knows that I have an insatiable sweet tooth. That’s why my bag has candy all the time, and my desk hides a can of snacks for me to munch on. And if I could, I’d have cookies for breakfast or even start my meals with something sweet. But alas, that cannot be, so I just make do with desserts at the end to cleanse the palate. Because really— no meal is ever complete without something sweet at the end.
But sugar overload aside, I often find myself craving for cookies from time to time. While I would usually go for the taste of warm cookies fresh out of the oven (especially the ones that ooze chocolate when you break it in half), I was surprised to find a cookie that actually tastes good even when cold.
And that cookie brand goes by the name of Dolcebella.

One of the many online Instagram stores that specialize in baked goods, Dolcebella plays around with chocolate in both their cookies and brownies. From Chocolate Chunk cookies with 75% and 52% dark chocolate chunk mixed in, along with chocolatey Revel bars and a Cheesecake Brownie with a gooey center and a swirling cream cheese pattern on top that cuts through the richness of the brownie, the sky’s the limit for Dolcebella and their array of desserts. Their Chocolate Chunk and Cheesecake Brownies were my favorites so far, and yes, the cookies are best enjoyed cold for that added bite. And how satisfying is it to have the chocolate chunks melt in your mouth, right? It’s heavenly, I tell you.

Currently, they’ve launched their newest flavor that still includes the same chocolatey element: the Peanut Butter Pretzel Cookie. A peanut butter lover’s dream, the chocolate part here comes in the form of Reese’s Peanut Butter cups— all cut up and tossed in with salty pretzels for that crunch, and the much-needed chocolate chips. All these elements come together in soft cookie dough for an interplay of textures— crunchy, gooey and soft— paired with sweet and salty flavors.
