When in Cebu, a series of events in the business community is happening this June as the Cebu Business Month 2013 Grand Opening Salvo kicked off at Ayala Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu with a theme of “Excite Cebu, Power Up Global Business!”
CBM 2013 has the main goal of bringing in more relevance, fun, and excitement through experiencing Cebu’s Creative Industries, ICT and BPO, Tourism, and Entrepreneurship – the four major thrusts of Cebu. In this year’s Cebu Business Month, focus on the surging businesses in these four thrusts will be given to push them further towards success.

The Grand Opening Salvo of the Cebu Business Month 2013 was attended by esteemed officers and members of Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) headed by their President, Mr. Lito Maderazo.

Mr. Maderazo was elected president of CCCI last February 28. Prior to this, he served as President of the Chamber for 15 years and then Overall Chair for CBM in 2002. He also served as the Chamber’s Vice-President for Finance and Administration. He is the Founder of Mactan Rock Industries, one of the country’s leading manufacturer of water treatment chemicals and equipment. His main advocacy is environmental preservation.
