Online wine shop JC Wines, known to promote wine-food pairing among Filipinos while offering high-quality, non-mainstream, and non-supermarket wines, just launched its most awaited CANNED WINES. From Navarra in Spain, AH-SO wines are made with organic grapes that are hand-picked, hand-harvested, estate-grown, and estate-canned. Yes, these are canned but definitely not mass-produced and they boast the terroir’s real expression.

Why is it called AH-SO? Well, AH-SO is actually a wine opener with two prongs. At first glance, people wouldn’t think it could pull a cork from the bottle but after knowing how to use this quirky opener, some people would proclaim “ach so!” – which, in German, is a saying for “Ah! Now I see”. AH-SO is not required for these canned wines, though – a funny paradox!

Canned wines are the new trend in casual wine drinking and might be the future of wines. AH SO canned wines are sold by box with four cans inside at Php950, which you can get assorted or in a single flavor only at JC wines starting today! Each can is 250 ml and comes in Red, White, Rosé, and Bubbly all from local Garnacha grapes.

Through this effort, JC Wines wants to strengthen its communication that Everyone Needs a Good Bottle of Wine (or a can of wine, for this circumstance) – that drinking shouldn’t be intimidating and there is no need to become a wine expert or a geek because it is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. And trust us – you’ll definitely enjoy these! (They make for great additions to care packages, too.)
