The Beauty of Callao Caves in Cagayan Province

When in the Philippines, and you’re looking for an easy yet breathtaking adventure up north where you can bring your family and friends along, the Callao Caves in the Cagayan Valley Region is a definite place to go.

The Callao caves are located in Peñablanca, Cagayan near Tuguegarao.

Peñablanca came from two spanish words “Peña” which means “rock” and “blanca” which means white which you’ll see later on in the photos.

The only thing you have to brace for are the 183 steps going into the cave entrance.

But a 4-year old kid was able to do it, so can you.
