The story centers around two young men falling in love but explores so much more. It is a story about first love, lust, innocence, and loss. The film stars Timothée Chalamet as Elio, a precocious 17-year-old whose world is forever changed when he meets a slightly older doctoral student, Oliver (played by Armie Hammer).
