This year, the UP Organization of Business Economics Majors (UP OBEM) proudly launches its newest business event entitled THE PITCH: Promoting Innovations. The Pitch is a business convention that aims to gather innovative minds from local start-up businesses and provide them an avenue to present their business pitches in front of investors who could help them jumpstart their own business venture. It will be held on November 10, 2018 at the UP School of Economics, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
The Pitch is searching for local startup businesses, from any industry, that are in the Seed Stage to Later Stage to participate in the event. All interested startups may submit their business pitch entries for a chance to secure their spot in the Top 20 Startup Businesses that will be invited to attend the event on November 10 and present their business pitch to the panel of investors. The panel is comprised of notable investors from Original Pitch Venture Capital, Manila Angel Investors Network, and Team Aguhon.
To submit business pitch entries, kindly refer to the following details:
- Submit a PDF file of your business pitch containing the following:
- Name of the business
- Contact person
- Contact number
- A brief description of the business
- Business pitch
- Email your submission to upobem@gmail.com with the Subject “Business Pitch Entry of [NAME OF BUSINESS].”
- Deadline of entries is on October 26, 11:59 PM (GMT +8).
