As an avid meat-lover, the carving station instantly got my attention. They serve tender and juicy prime rib or ribeye grilled to perfection with sides of either mashed potato or pumpkin, and roasted vegetables.

It’s literally also served off the grill! To make sure that you can enjoy the freshness and quality of the meats, they grill them perfectly right in front of you. And wow, each bite is bursting with the sensational flavors of their grilled meats. The carving station alone makes this weekend buffet worth every peso!

If you’re really after indulging yourself in all things delicious, you’ll also love the fresh seafood station at Cafe 1228. They offer fresh prawns, crabs, and mussels; and on some weekends you may even see lobsters and oysters.

The premium seafood choices are also cooked right in front of you, with your choice of sauce; our favorite was the garlic butter sauce. If you’re not into grilled seafood, you can also have them steamed and paired with your DIY soup bowl.

Their Japanese selection also features some of the favorites such as salmon and tuna sashimi, shrimp, fish and vegetable tempura, nori salad, miso soup, and an array of tasty rolls.

If you’re in the mood for something that tastes like home, they also have a tasty selection of Asian and Filipino dishes which include steamed pork buns, salted egg fish fillet, lechon paksiw, sweet and sour pork, and fried rice.

You can also enjoy Cafe 1228’s salad station, charcuterie station, unlimited drinks, and desserts to top off your scrumptious meal. There’s also a crepe station with ice cream, sauces, and toppings.
