 Bus Wars: DMCI Bus Passengers Attack Public Passenger Bus 

This video seemingly shows an altercation supposedly between two buses. 

It was sent to us by one of our readers and they also sent the following narrative about the incident. We also include a rough English translation below:  

Kagabi noong nasa coastal ako pauwi galing sa eskuwela nang may lumiko na bus ng DMCI at binangga ang sidemirror ng sinasakyan kong bus. Nasa pinakakanang lane kami at yung bus ng dmci ay nasa kaliwa namin bago kami binangga. Lumabas ung driver ng bus namin para bayaran ng driver ng dmci ang nasirang sidemirror pero tumanggi at tanka nilang saktan ung driver ng bus na sinasakyan namin. Maya maya ung isa sa mga pasahero ng dmci bus ay lumapit sa bus namin na may dalang pala at hinampas ang pintuan ng driver seat ng bus. Hindi ko po nakunan ung parte na hinampas ng pala ung bus pero base sa nakunan ko at ang mga nakasaksi na mananagot po ang mga taga DMCI at ang driver po nito Kayo na pong humusga. Share niyo po hanggang sa umabot po ito sa autoridad. Sana matuto naman po itong mga taga DMCI ng tamang asal.

Last night, we were on Coastal Road, on our way home from school when a DMCI bus turned and hit the side-mirror of the bus I was on. We were on the rightmost lane and the DMCI bus was on our left side before we got hit. The driver of our bus went down to ask for payment for our broken side-mirror but the other bus denied that and even attempted to hurt our bus driver. Moments later, a passenger of the DMCI bus came to our bus with a stick or weapon and hit our bus driver’s door. I didn’t get footage of that part where they attached and swung at our bus but based on the video I got  and from the witnesses, the DMCI personnel were at fault. You be the judge. Please share until this reaches the proper authorities. I hope the people of DMCI will learn the proper manners. 

Mga walang isip na manggagawa. Hindi man lang naisip na public vehicle ung pinagkukumpulan nila. Mga siraulo may mga pasahero na nakasakay dyan. Anong trauma ang iiwan niyo sa mga sakay nyan ng dahil sa ginawa niyo? Hindi kayo nag iisip. Sumenyas na ang driver na tama na. Hindi pa rin kayo tumigil. May dala pang pamalo ung isa. Kitang kita naman sa video.

Mindless people. Didn’t they think that this was a public vehicle that they were ganging up on. Crazy people didn’t think that there were passengers on that bus. What type of trauma will you instill onto the passengers? They weren’t thinking. Our driver even signaled to stop. They still would not stop. They even brought sticks / weapons. You can see it in the video.
