Have you seen the new Bumblebee movie in theaters?
I heard good things about Transformers prequel sans Michael Bay, so I might check it out later. I’ve seen good reviews about it and it seems to have scored 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. Unfortunately, it didn’t receive an Oscars nod.
Oh well.
Still, the good news is, Deadline reported that Paramount wants to continue the good work laid down by Travis Knight’s film in a potential sequel.
There are no other details about the sequel but there are many reports that say that Paramount is more interested in doing a sequel of this movie rather than going back to the present and reboot Transformers. For those who aren’t familiar with the story, Bumblebee takes place in 1980s and wore its nostalgia like a badge of honor.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see until more details are revealed.
