8 Bulalo Spots That Are Worth Visiting Even Without A View

I always looked forward to our short yet meaningful trips to Tagaytay when I lived in Paranaque. I would always choose places with a view! But, now that I live here in Tagaytay, I have realized that this place is more than just the scenic sights that everyone comes here for. In fact, there are many spots in the city that are worth visiting even without overlooking Taal Lake, where great food, like Tagaytay’s best-selling bulalo, is all you need to enjoy.

Allow me to share with you a few bulalo restaurants that you shouldn’t miss out on when in Tagaytay!

Along Mahogany Avenue, Klara’s Bulalo Kafe is a family-owned cafe and restaurant that serves Pinoy dishes. The restaurant is well-known for its specialty dish, bulalo, which is a hearty beef soup made with tender beef shanks, bone marrow, and vegetables, slow-cooked to perfection. The rich and flavorful broth and succulent meat make Klara’s Bulalo Kafe a must-visit for those seeking an authentic taste of Filipino cuisine.

Their cozy ambiance adds to their charm too. Their rustic interior with wooden furniture, warm lighting, and a laid-back atmosphere provides a welcoming and comfortable setting for diners to enjoy their meals. So even if you’re eating inside instead of at their alfresco seating, you’re sure to have a memorable experience.

They also serve a weekend breakfast buffet from 7:00 am – 10:30 am. The rate is Php 545 per adult and Php 200 for kids aged 5 to 11 years old.

The broth is seasoned just right, with a perfect balance of saltiness and umami flavors.
