Bongbong Marcos Wants Death Penalty Back For Drug Traffickers

Senator Bongbong Marcos wants to bring back the death penalty but only for illegal drug-related crimes, according to local reports.

News reports say that while the senator knows that there’s no easy solution to the drug problem in the country, the negative effects that illegal drugs have brought to society have convinced him to support reenacting the death penalty back into law. According to him, the pushing of illegal drugs have now become prevalent in different parts of the country.

In an interview with Mike Enriquez, Marcos reportedly said:

According to the senator, if he wins as vice president, he would push for stronger ties with international agencies to solve the problem of drug trafficking:

The vice presidential aspirant also wants to prosecute the big drug lords, not just the small-time pushers.
