It’s no secret that a lot of Filipinos love basketball – and with that comes a love for basketball shoes.
Bong Go, Special Assistant to President Rodrigo Duterte, happens to be one of those Filipinos with a love for the game. And due to his love for the game, he recently released his own basketball shoes dubbed the ‘Bong Go 3-Point King.’
The shoes are made by World Balance and come in a white-and-green colorway. On the tongue tab, you will find ‘Bong Go’ printed on it along with the President’s logo of a fist, while ‘3-Point King’ can be found on the heel tab. On the shoe box, you will find caricatures of him with President Duterte, the words ‘Go Na Tayo’ on the side, and ‘Bong Go Tayo’ in front.

If you want to cop yourself a pair of these sneakers, though, you might have a hard time doing so as they are only limited to 500 pairs.
Other public officials who have had shoes made before include Joseph Estrada and Jejomar Binay.
