We are definitely feeling the nostalgia after seeing a photo currently circulating on social media of our three beloved “Blue’s Clues” hosts over the years reuniting for yet another special surprise to fans all over the globe!
Spotted on the Instagram account of Steve Burns, who was the first host of the children’s show, the photo sees him, Donovan Patton (aka host Joe), and current “Blue’s Clues & You” host Joshua Dela Cruz (aka Josh) wearing their iconic attire while on set. Steve did not give any details away but it seems that the three are gearing up to prepare for the show’s upcoming 25th anniversary.

According to reports, Steve, Joe, and Josh will be starring in a “nostalgia-driven” music video directed by Steve himself and which will also feature real-life fans from various generations. This music video is only one among the many treats in store for everyone during the Silver Year festivities, namely:
- an original full-length “Blue’s Clues & You” movie wherein Josh and Blue travel to New York City to audition for a big Broadway musical;
- several initiations for Save The Children foundation;
- a couple of TV events, including an episode where we finally see the return of the fan-favorite feline character, Periwinkle;
- a limited-time, dedicated “Bluetique” in New York City selling “Blue’s Clues” merchandise;
- a whole new line of toys and products;
- and so much more!
We honestly can’t wait!

“Blue’s Clues” aired on September 8, 1996, and continues to be one of the most successful children’s television shows. It has received several distinctions for excellence in children’s programming, educational software, and licensing, as well as multiple Emmy Awards.
