International travel website Big 7 Travel recently released a list ranking 50 of the best burger places in Asia. They refer to burgers as “one of the simplest yet tastiest meals in the world” and explain that each and every burger on the list is worth trekking across Asia for.
Near the very top of that list is our very own Sweet Ecstasy, ranking at third place!

They call Sweet Ecstasy “one for the true burger aficionados.” The write-up rains praise on them, saying “they don’t over complicate things here and just focus on making what is quite honestly a ridiculously good and wholesome burger.
”
Sweet Ecstasy’s high ranking is attributed to their “sheer consistent quality.”
Joining Sweet Ecstasy on the list are other local burger places The Burger Joint at 44th place, Zark’s Burgers at 25th place, and Lusso at 16th place.
The Burger Joint is described as “One to come to if you are absolutely starving because their portions are massive. You’ll struggle to get it all into your mouth, but once you do the flavours are superb.
”
While Big 7 writes of Zark’s Burgers: “With a food truck set up, the vibe is very American. Alongside their burgers, which are absolutely world class, they probably do the best fries in Manila and their fried chicken is also a must try.”
Lusso is said to “keep things nice and simple here [by] focusing on really good beef with simple toppings. The end result? It is absolutely mouthwatering and well deserving to be among the best burgers in Asia.”
