Months ahead of their tour in Manila, A1 singer Ben Adams announced that he wants to do a duet with Sarah Geronimo.

The story began when Adams tweeted last night that he wants to do a duet with a well-known Southeast Asian female artist. He asked for recommendations, with the hashtags #Philippines, #Singapore, #Indonesia, #Thailand, and #Malaysia. The five countries are some of A1’s stops in their tour with American boy band O-Town.

In a follow-up tweet, he said, “So @JustSarahG and @catrionaelisa seem to be coming up a lot in suggestions for who to duet with on my next project…….now I just need to find their contact details and make it happen! #Philippines.

Just hours after these tweets, Adams seems to have found the right person to contact. He said, “Well, quick update, I’ve checked out all of the videos and articles you guys have sent me on @JustSarahG and I think she’s amazing! Have emailed @VivaArtists so let’s see what they say…… thanks everyone! #Philippines

The concert won’t be until November but we hope this pushes through!

A1 is a British-Norwegian boy band that was formed in 1998. They are behind the hits “Be the First to Believe,” “Same Old Brand New You,” and “No More.” They won a BRIT Award in 2001 for British Breakthrough Act. In 2002, member Paul Marazzi left the group, and the rest disbanded as well.

The band reformed in 2009 without Marazzi, but he came back on board in 2017 for the band’s 20th anniversary tour.

A1 will be joined by O-Town in a concert on November 9, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
