Belle de Jour Power Planner 2014, Glad to Meet You!
When in Manila and with lots of things to do, consider noting things down in a planner. I did! And while I am on my fourth week of planning and noting down my endeavors, I cannot help but think back on how my journey with Belle de Jour Power Planner 2014 began:
2013 was nearing its end when I realized that I did not have a planner for 2014 yet.
With that, I decided to forget about collecting stickers for a free planner and went to one of my favorite bookstores instead. I saw one, but did not get it immediately. Instead, I placed it in my Christmas wish list. To my surprise, my wish was granted by my boyfriend! And that’s when the Belle de Jour Power Planner 2014 and I became properly acquainted.

I fell in love with the planner’s unique design (one of the things I consider when buying planners). Aside from that, I also steer clear of lightly colored planners (in terms of covers, I mean) which usually collect and display stains during their 12 months of use. That is what made the black covered Belle de Jour Power Planner 2014 perfect for me.
Also, the pages of this planner are not the boring and monochrome type. Don’t get me wrong. I love monochrome sometimes, but during lousy days, the colors in the planner can add to my It’s-a-beautiful-life-so-smile thing.
Also, I love that there are other features in it besides the calendar for my daily to-do’s: 2014 Goals, Dream Board, 2014 BDJ Checklist, Events Tracker, My Health Plan, Menstrual Tracker, Vacation Planner, Gifts Tracker, Lifestyle Directory, Bills Tracker, Cash Flow Tracker and Emergency Information.
At first, I felt like there’s too much going on in this planner, really. But when I got to know the pages better later on, I had a good time using it.
No. I’m not the kikay girl who loves to get her all things painted pink. However, I love to explore and I think I will be opening my world to another portal: the Bellas’ world! (Makes me think of Pitch Perfect’s Barden Bellas whenever I read it. LOL)
What world? You may ask. More than the planner, Belle de Jour is a community, just like When in Manila! I got to know that upon flipping pages of my 2014 planning partner. So I typed ilovebdj.com on my address bar and it helped me learn more about BDJ.
