When in Manila, you cannot survive without a trusty pair of sandals you can wear everyday. The city is best explored on foot, after all, so you will need shoes that can withstand a lot of walking. Thankfully, Bella Schu came up with sandals that are both cute and sturdy – perfect for everyday wear.

I know, cute shoes don’t necessarily have a reputation of being durable, just as sturdy footwear aren’t really known for being pretty (my guess is you’re probably thinking of those thick, super durable rubber slippers you use to wage wars against roaches at home). Well, Bella Schu sandals might look dainty, but they are as tough as shoes can get.
Bella Schu is perfect for everyday wear. And by everyday wear, I really mean every day.
Imagine getting lost in a dodgy-looking neighborhood in Makati and walking twelve street corners before seeing a jeepney stop that’s even remotely familiar. Hard to imagine? Yes, but that’s exactly what happened to me when I wore Bella Schu’s Cady the other day.
Other brands of sandals would’ve probably conked out by the third block, but not Bella Schu. I survived, and even more importantly, my Cadys survived! I just had to watch out for dog poop, though — not even a great shoe brand like Bella Schu can protect itself against that.
Bella Schu’s other design, Maddie, is really cute, too.
