Just last month, I wrote about Anne Curtis kicking butt while training for Erik Matti’s film ‘Buy Bust’. Now, she’s all over my feed yet again, but this time for a movie that is much lighter, funnier and more relatable. The movie is called ‘Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?’ and as the title of the movie reveals, it touches on the prevalence of hot gay men in the Philippines.
The teaser trailer shows Anne walking on a treadmill in a gym as she asks, “Gwapo ba ang hanap mo? Ang tanong: ikaw ba ang hanap nila?” She proceeds to ask how you can tell if a guy is gay and, in a somewhat stereotypical yet lighthearted manner, she points out Paolo Ballesteros who is gay in the movie and whose sexuality can allegedly be spotted by his cycling shorts at the gym, the 5 hours he spends at the gym because of Instagram and what she calls the ‘ultimate test’: when the lips say no, but the eyes don’t lie.
Anne plays the role of Kylie, a girl with a ‘curse’ of dating guys who are hot, but gay. And then in walks Dennis Trillo in all of his muscled awesomeness. :p Watch the full teaser trailer here:
No release date has been revealed for the movie yet, but I definitely want to see this movie. :p What about you?
