B Hotel Alabang: The 3 Star Hotel with a 5 Star Feel

 

My last adventure was in June I believe and after the sudden turn of events which transpired after that, I must admit that I thought about quitting for good. I felt so lost and way off course that I had to put all things on hold and focus on my job before I lose my sanity. Adult life can be really tough at times specially when you don’t know how to manage your stress. In those times when weekends passed and found myself being stuck at home, I thought my brains were literally gonna explode!

Last Friday, I worked overtime for 3 hrs….crazy right? I felt if I didn’t go on a getaway I’d go nuts. The introvert side of me yearned for some “time off” so I had to give in…. but where??

For some time now, I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about this 3 Star hotel in Alabang – The B Hotel Alabang. I didn’t feel the need to walk far or see the sun…. that time, I just needed some peace and quiet far from the kingdom of Fairview, Quezon City so heading down south was a great idea! I’m a huge Bellevue Manila fan so when I learned that B Hotel was a sister hotel, I didn’t care to hesitate. The room rate was also affordable (around P3500 with breakfast) so I gave it a go!

And so, I bravely headed south from the office after I finished my OT around 9pm. I was sooooo tired, I just wanted to sleep. I was too lazy to take the bus so I didn’t mind spending a few hundreds for a cab ride. I arrived at the B Hotel before 10pm. I was warmly greeted by the staff and it didn’t take long for them to give me my key card. When the front desk officer handed me my key card and saw my room number….BOOM!!

…. I’ve had this “thing” with the 1111 phenomenon for almost 4 yrs now. This phenomenon is believed to be a sign that your angels are with you and that you must be careful with your thoughts as you are able to manifest things fast. When I found that I was to stay at room 1111,  it was a clear sign for me that I was guided and that I had heaven’s blessing in going back to writing and traveling. Again, I was at the right place and time =)

I immediately felt the calm relaxing feel of room 1111. The bed was soooo inviting and for a few seconds, I was a bit confused for the room didn’t look like a 3 star hotel room at all!

 

 

 

I had a really good long sleep and woke up after 9 long hours! Phew! I had the whole day for myself and the only plan was to INDULGE like a true epicure should!

 

As I began looking around my room, I couldn’t help but notice the details which struck me…. details which not even most 5 star hotels have……. for me, a full service hotel should have the following:

 

 

 

These little details certainly kept me wondering  the whole morning. How could a small 3 star hotel like the B Hotel offer such extras?

After that relaxing shower, I went to full photographer mode again and  headed down to the restaurant to have breakfast….

After roaming around the B Hotel, I’ve decided to take a rest the whole afternoon and treat myself to more sleep….
