Assunta De Rossi is pregnant!
The 37-year-old actress shared the amazing news on Instagram wherein she posted a photo of herself lying in bed to reveal the symptoms she had been enduring for the past two months: fatigue, nausea, tender and swollen breasts, food aversions, constipation, dizziness, and heartburn.
Exactly two months ago, on March 5, Assunta paid a visit to her OB-GYN after she had missed her period. Surprise, surprise: she was having a baby!
“An ultrasound scan and blood test confirmed later that day that I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I know, shocking!” she wrote on her post. “Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis (which I both have) is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!”
She added that she is 14 weeks pregnant. She has been married to her partner, Jules Ledesma, for 16 years.
