9. Doctor Strange: November 4, 2016
Who isn’t excited for Dr Strange? Aside from being a new comic book character on the big screen, the casting choice of Benedict Cumberbatch is getting us all the more excited to see what he has in store for everyone!
8. Suicide Squad: August 5, 2016
When Heath Ledger portrayed The Joker, everyone was pleasantly surprised by his portrayal and now, everyone is excited to see what Jared Leto will bring to the character. Aside from that, there are so many other actors to be excited about in this film, including Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Cara Delevingne as the Enchantress.
7. Star Wars: Rogue One: December 16, 2016
While we are still too excited for Star Wars: The Force Awakens to be extremely excited for Star Wars: Rogue One, this movie shows a lot of promise. There isn’t a lot of information out about the movie yet, but if it involves Rebels trying to destroy the Death Star, then we are all for it! Plus, Forest Whitaker and Diego Luna will be in the movie. Score!
6. Captain America: Civil War: May 6, 2016
The Avengers never let us down. Ever. Their movies are always fun and full of action and with them battling each other in Civil War, there seems to be a lot of promise for all that and more. We can’t wait to see what the teams will look like and who will come out victorious in this upcoming Avenger-filled movie!
5. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice: March 25, 2016
More than seeing Ben Affleck don the batsuit and seeing whether he will live up to the role, we are more excited to see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman because, come on, finally seeing Wonder Woman on the big screen is something that we have been waiting for for decades!
4. X-Men: Apocalypse: May 27, 2016
X-Men: Apocalypse is another superhero movie we cannot wait to see. We don’t know about you, but we love the current cast of the movie and have enjoyed their latest movies immensely. As such, we can’t wait for this one to come out, either.
3. Assassin’s Creed: December 21, 2016
If you are fan of the Assassin’s Creed video games, then you might have mixed emotions about this. However, with Michael Fassbender taking the lead role, we think you can rest easy because Fassbender hasn’t disappointed us thus far.
2. Deadpool: February 12, 2016
While I personally wasn’t a huge fan of the last movie we saw Deadpool on the big screen in nor was I a huge fan of Ryan Reynolds as The Green Lantern, I’m intrigued as to how he will hold his own in this new Deadpool movie. Here’s to hoping for the best!
1. Warcraft: June 10, 2016
Of course, gamers are very familiar with this game! Yes, World of Warcraft is also coming to the big screen in 2016. Who’s excited?
