Angkas is Offering Free Rides for Healthcare Workers

Angkas is launching its free rides for healthcare workers this weekend with select government hospitals for the remainder of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MGCQ) until August 18, 2020.

In a Facebook post, they shared that they are launching this with a few hospitals first based on recommendations from the Department of Health (DOH), but also have plans on expanding this as soon as their operational capacity is able to.

They also remind all riding healthcare workers to bring their own helmet with a full-faced visor to minimize transmission. Participating hospitals will be informing their staff of this service, while interested healthcare workers can coordinate with their respective HR/admin departments on how to avail of the service.
