The Cinemalaya film festival has consistently been making waves in the Pinoy film industry. It is proof that there is promising talent in new, up and coming filmmakers.
This year’s Cinemalaya opening film, Ang Larawan, promises an extravaganza for the senses. Written by the legendary Nick Joaquin with music by Ryan Cayabyab and the Philharmonic Orchestra, the movie is expected to showcase Pinoy talent at its finest. It also stars Rachel Alejandro, Joanna Ampil, Cara Manglapus, Sandino Martin, and  Paulo Avelino, among many others.
