Filipina-Italian Model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez Named In TIME’s Person of the Year Issue

TIME just released their Person of the Year issue, bringing together on the front cover powerful women who have all been deemed as “silence breakers”, as the magazine honored women who have been victims of sexual assault.

On the front cover were actress Ashley Judd, who called out Harvey Weinstein and is now a spokesperson for the #MeToo movement; activist Adama Iwu; pop star Taylor Swift; strawberry picker Isabel Pascual; and Susan Fowler, who was a former engineer at Uber.

Meanwhile, Filipina-Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez was featured inside the issue, who filed sexual harassment complaints against disgraced Hollywood movie executive Harvey Weinstein. Ambra was one of over 80 women who spoke up on the sexual harassment allegations against Weinstein, with the New Yorker releasing a video in October this year of Ambra and Weinstein, where Ambra wore a wire during a New York Police Department sting where she taped Weinstein admitting that he’d groped her previously.

You go, girl.
