It looks like we just got more opportunities to enjoy online shopping. Global e-commerce company Amazon just announced that they’re now offering shipping options to the Philippines, and for FREE!
That’s right, now we’ve got a whole new e-commerce platform to enjoy when shopping for goods online.
The option for free shipping to the Philippines is readily available on Amazon’s platform, but it is only for eligible products with a total order value of USD 49 or more. Amazon notes that there will still be import fees and VAT, exclusive to your total order amount.
Amazon has already been shipping to the Philippines, but with high shipping fees, so this free shipping option definitely opens doors for more Filipinos to be able to purchase products that aren’t available locally.
There is no word yet as to how long this free shipping option may be available for the Philippines. But until then, happy shopping!
