Are you ready to take on the challenge of best in design?

The Main adobo Magazine Design Awards category is open to all creative professionals and freelancers beyond just the advertising community. Aside from creative directors, art directors and graphic designers, adobo Design Awards opens up the competition to fashion designers, multimedia artists, music video producers/directors, game designers, animators, mobile/android app designers, who are up to the challenge for the best in design.

There are 11 formats of entries that can be submitted: poster, book, logo, website, music video, environmental design, packaging, 3-D product, interactive design/game design, wearable (clothing or accessory), and broadcast/animation. Outstanding designs for every category will be given the Best in Category Award.

Every entry must have its purpose. There are five purposes: corporate or brand identity, self-promotion, corporate/business communications, advertising, and advocacy/corporate social responsibility. Entries that best represent a purpose regardless of format will be awarded the Grand Prix Awards.

Entries for this category must have been released commercially or made available to potential customers between January 1, 2011-January 31, 2012.

Can you make it more fun in the Philippines?

Help boost Philippine tourism in your own creative way through the adobo Magazine Design Awards Theme category, which is open to all professionals, freelancers, enthusiasts and students (undergraduate and graduate levels).

This category gives you the chance to showcase your own take on promoting the beauty of the Philippines. You may focus on either a beautiful scenery (i.e. Mayon Volcano) or a portrayal of the country’s personality (i.e. hospitality).

Simply present a positive and memorable image of the country that can entice both foreigners and locals to explore the wonders of the Philippines.

Entries to this adobo Magazine Design category must include a graphic design illustration pitch (poster format) plus a choice of the following applications (consistent with the theme):

· Icon design for a bag accessory, which can be in the form of a dangle, patch, or button. You have free reign on the size, shape or placement of the design. So go crazy and impress us!

· Icon design for the back cover of a mobile phone.
