One of the most awaited movies this year is A Star is Born, the musical romantic drama starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
Much has been said about the film and we’re just looking forward to the film being screened in Manila.
The first single off the soundtrack, “Shallow,” has been released and you can watch the music video below:
“Shallow” is the first song that Gaga and Cooper sing in the film, and is the song that starts their love affair and musical collaboration.
Gaga described the song as about “two people talking to each other, and talking about the need and the drive to dive into the deep end and stay away from the shallow area.”
A Star is Born is the third remake of the 1937 film starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. In the film, Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a singer-songwriter who falls in love with Gaga’s Ally, a newcomer in the industry.
The remake premiered at the 75th Venice International Film Festival, and already has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, with the review, “With appealing leads, deft direction, and an affecting love story, A Star Is Born is a remake done right — and a reminder that some stories can be just as effective in the retelling.”
The film will premiere in Manila on October 10, 2018.
