A Day of Love, Giving and Joy: Give School Supplies and Toys to the Children Affected by Yolanda

For most of us, Christmas is a day full gifts with our name on it, but there are plenty of Children in the Eastern Visayas who will either celebrate their Christmas in their wrecked homes or have forgotten the Spirit of Christmas. These children are victims of the Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

Angeline Calurasan, organizer of the event “A Day of Love, Giving and Joy: Give School Supplies and Toys to the Children Affected by Yolanda” spearheaded this outreach party for the children with a series of games, gift giving and food giving just to make them feel that Christmas is still a day of Love, Giving and Joy. A Day of Love, Giving and Joy: Give School Supplies and Toys to the Children Affected by Yolanda outreach party will take place on December 23, 2013 at Barangay Telegrafo Tolosa, Leyte.

The Christmas season is a good time to start thinking about helping other people specially kids. Why don’t you share your blessings to these children in need. What they may need includes providing food donation, school supplies and toys for them to experience the joy of the Christmas Season despite the hardship they’ve gone through. It is indeed the perfect time to share our good fortune with these children in need specially those who are victims of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Cash Donations are also welcomed.

The more donations we gather, the more we can lift the hearts of these children.
