The Ateneo Model United Nations is a three-day conference that simulates the procedures that go on in the United Nations. The 6th Ateneo Model UN will be held in the Ateneo de Manila University campus this coming November 12-14, 2015, and caters to high school and college level students who are interested in expanding their knowledge and experience in diplomacy and international relations. Opened to interested applicants inside and outside the Ateneo, even without prior experience in Model United Nations conferences, the 6th Ateneo Model UN is the flagship project of the Ateneo Association of European Studies Students that aims to provide a platform for young student-delegates to learn and practice valuable diplomatic skills in a globally relevant platform while challenging themselves with issues and topics that are not usually discussed in the classroom setting.

As a student-delegate, expect to take part in debates and discourse on various issues that concern different parts of the world today, and throughout history. With that, be open as well to meet other student-delegates from within and outside the Ateneo community and expand your networks whilst making new friends. To add to this, the Ateneo Model United Nations invites speakers such as diplomats, ambassadors, and other experts in the realm of Foreign Service and international relations to share about their experiences, perspectives, and insights and hopefully inspire those attending to step up and take part in relevant social movements.

To be a delegate, simply sign up at https://tinyurl.com/6thAMUNSignUps on or before October 24, 2015. To complete the application process, the delegate fee of Php 850.00 must be paid before the deadline as well. Payment procedures as well as other pertinent details for the delegates to note will be sent via e-mail once the applicant has completed the application form.
