4 Pinoys Live their Moment of Greatness at PICC

There’s a quintessential Filipino saying that goes, “Libre lang mangarap” — and we really are free to dream big and reach for the stars.

We can all relate to the sentiment of fulfilling a life-long passion, either one that has been sidelined for years, or one that has always been there. And we’ve certainly dreamed of that big moment onstage, whether by celebrating a momentous occasion with loved ones, speaking before an audience of thousands, or performing your heart out onstage!

The Philippine International Convention Center, Asia’s first convention center and home of the world’s greats, gave four Filipinos the opportunity to live out their moment of greatness.

Lourdes Buhay is an IT consultant who has never had a grand celebration in her life. But for her 40th birthday, she was in for a big surprise.

Jacqueline Marzan Tolentino is an educator and author who wished to share the word of God to as many people as possible.  She was able to live her dream by speaking at The Feast, the weekly gathering of the Light of Jesus community.

Jennifer Jimeno Atienza has always wanted to be a dancer, but she had to set her passion aside in favor of law school. Like Jennifer, Kurt Silvano has dreamed of performing onstage, but he too pursued his career in IT over his love for singing. The two professionals had a chance to showcase their talents onstage as their family and friends cheered them on.

Everyone deserves to have their grand moment of greatness, and only the PICC can provide this one-of-a-kind experience. Having hosted some of the world’s greatest talents such as Lea Salonga and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as world leaders such as Justin Trudeau and Barack Obama, the PICC is truly a stunning venue worthy of any stellar occasion.
