Started as a fashion model in 2005, 15-year old Lee Jong Suk became the youngest male model ever for the Seoul Collection program at the Seoul Fashion Week. In 2016, Lee Jong Suk returned as the lead role in the highly-rated fantasy-thriller TV Series “W” alongside Han Hyo Joo, where he played as Kang Chul, a vengeful yet appealing broadcasting network CEO. Due to the drama’s popularity and Jong Suk’s excellent performance, another award was added to his roster of achievements as he wins the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the MBC Drama Awards in the same year.
Further proving his success, more recently, he appeared in the 2017 TV series “While You Were Sleeping” with Bae Suzy. His global influence and popularity were also recognized by the Korea Tourism Organization as he was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for Korean Tourism.
