Sylvester Stallone is Set to Star in the Next “Rambo”

As they say, age is but a number. It’s certainly true for actor Sylvester Stallone, who is set to star in the next and final Rambo film.

In Rambo: Last Blood, the 72 year old Stallone returns as John J. Rambo, who goes to Mexico to save a friend’s daughter who has been kidnapped by the Mexican cartel.

The Rambo franchise follows the titular character, a Vietnam War veteran and former U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier skilled in survival, weaponry, combat, and warfare. It has produced four films, including First Blood (1982), First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988), and Rambo (2008).

Stallone will star with Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adriana Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Joaquín Cosío, and Oscar Jaenada. The film is directed by Adrian Grunberg.

Rambo: Last Blood is set to premiere on September 20, 2019.
