Ever since I watched their show RENT, I have already become a big fan of 9 works theatrical! They are a group of VERY talented individuals who know how to work and play at the same time! They always seem to have SO MUCH fun!
9 Works Theatrical is one of the leading theater companies in Manila and is also the group behind hit musicals RENT, Songs For a New World, The Wedding Singer, Sweet Charity, and the recent critically-acclaimed family musical comedy, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! I’ve seen RENT and The Wedding Singer – both of which were REALLY REALLY good! I missed their run on Charlie Brown though… still crossing my fingers that they’d do a rerun! Stage Camp: The summer acting workshop for you!
In cooperation with The Rockwell Club, 9 works theatrical re-launches STAGE CAMP. It’s an annual summer acting workshop for kids, teens and adults of ALL ages! In this summer acting workshop, “We Make Your Dreams Come True.”
“Since joining the acting workshop, theater actor Sarah Facuri, and sisters Becca and Rachel Coates have become part of Resorts World’s ongoing production of The Sound of Music. STAGE CAMP alumnus Fran Jose was also recently part of 4th Wall’s Rivalry: The Ateneo-La Salle Musical and appeared in last year’s Seussical the Musical under Rep. Erik Lozano was seen in Kids Act’s Pinocchio while Joseph Perez in Tanghalang Pilipino’s Noli Me Tangere.”

9 Works Theatrical: Stage Camp Summer Acting Workshop Schedules and Classes:
KIDDIE CAMP – summer acting workshop for kids ages 5 to 8 years old. Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Teachers Francis Matheu (The Wedding Singer, Peter Pan) and Peachy Atilano (RENT, Sound of Music) will be here to guide your kids!
PRE-TEEN CAMP – summer acting workshop for kids ages 9 to 12 years old. Classes are from Mondays to Fridays. This will be led by Onyl Torres (Joy Luck Club, A Fire in the Soul) and Harold Cruz (Rivalry, RENT)
TEEN CAMP – summer acting workshop for kids ages 13 to 17. Classes are from Mondays to Fridays. Classes will be handled by Toff de Venecia (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Little Shop of Horrors) and Gemini Quintos (Broadway’s Annie and A Christmas Carol)
ADULT CAMP – summer acting workshop for adults 18 years old and above. Classes are also from Mondays to Fridays. The adult summer acting workshop will be under Topper Fabregas (Leading Ladies, Sweet Charity) and Anthony Tarrosa Ong (Rivalry, Sweet Charity)
ADVANCED CAMP for ADULTS – summer acting workshop for adults who have already appeared in 2 professional productions or joined three workshops. This is limited to 18 slots! Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays! This will be led by no other than 9 Works Theatrical’s Artistic Director Robbie Guevara (Miss Saigon, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown) with several guest instructors.
Running for a total of seven weeks at The Loft @ Manansala Tower, Rockwell Center, Makati from April 16 to June 3, Stage Camp is the perfect avenue to hone and develop one’s skills in singing, dancing, and acting, discover new talents, and make a ton of friends.
