The Stunt Coordinators Behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sequel are Filipino-American

While CGI in movies is cool, I’m a bit more old-fashioned and live more for actual fighting scenes.

So, when I saw the trailer of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, I couldn’t help but squeal inside because of all of the action that the movie seems to promise to provide.

When I heard that the stunt coordinators are Filipino-American, I got even more excited because, well, I’m not afraid to admit that I feel a sense of pride whenever our fellowmen do well in the world. Jonathan Eusebio and Jon Valera are the Filipino-Americans who designed the fight scenes in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie and they came back to do the same for the sequel. Just a bit of trivia for those who plan on catching the movie this weekend! 🙂
