STUNNING: Badjao Girl’s Captivating Images During Photo Shoot

Social media has been proven to be helpful in many ways. It could be for finding stories; helping someone in need; stunning images, and videos that we could actually learn from. I think as the entertainment blossoms in the digital world, it’s much easier to discover things are newsworthy. Such is the case of this gorgeous Badjao girl, who became famous after she got papped by a Photographer named Topher Quinto Burgos during the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban town in Quezon province.

Badjao, also known as, “Sea Gypsies” of the Sulu and Celebes Seas, the Badjao are scattered along the coastal areas of Tawi-Tawi, Sulu, Basilan, and some coastal municipalities of Zamboanga del Sur.

Her name is Rita Gaviola, and when her photos circulated online, a lot of Netizens were at awe at her simple yet elegant face. Furthermore, many believed she has the qualities of being a star model in the making.

Well, as fate would have it, the 13-year-old indeed emerged into a remarkable supermodel!

Truthfully, she looks like she was destined to be the next top model.

The ABS-CBN’s Sunday magazine show hosted by Korina Sanchez, The Rated K, has also shared photos of the 13-year-old model.In fact, according to the news report, Korina offered Rita a scholarship to make her dream of being a teacher a reality.

Because of her instant fame, news also reported that many personalities, organizations, and politicians have also extended help for their community.

Genuinely, her ultimate goal is to finish her education and help her family, as well.

Personally, I admire the simplicity of her beauty. Everything is natural. I just hope she continues to be a blessing to others. Other than that, she really demonstrated the true Filipina beauty.
