Have you ever been caught in a dilemma on where you and your special someone can both get some R&R together? We found this new place in Ortigas where girls and guys can spend some time together for haircuts, nail spa and etc.
Stud & Sassy, located at the Citadines building of Ortigas caters to both girls and guys who need hair and nail services. They pride themselves with their experienced hairstylists, barber and nail technicians. I and my friend wheninmanila.com contributor JP Sium (@jpsium) went there to see what the fuzz is all about.
JP is quite particular on who cuts his hair since his hair is quite fluffy and would need extra care. He got a haircut by their lady barber and also some foot spa service to relieve his tired feet. He was glad to get the service because his feet have been really tired and it deserved some much-needed r&r.
I, on the other hand, had my roots bleached and a quick manicure to fix my crooked nail polish. They decided to do the hair and nail services together to save time because hair bleaching for my root retouch can take quite some time.
As you can see, my hair is really dry so right after the bleaching, they also gave me a hair treatment which is ammonia-free, formaldehyde-free and chemical-free – using Argila Amazonia from Brazil.
My nails had been “murdered” before so I’m quite hesitant to try nail services from other places other than the one I trust but when I tried Stud&Sassy’s, they were very careful and their gel work is perfection. They don’t use the typical brands for their gel polish. They use CND and it is much gentler on your nails, unlike other brands.
JP is not used to having his hair cut by a lady barber but he was quite impressed with the details and how she got what JP explained for his hairstyle.
