Meet Buddy. Possibly the luckiest dog in the world.
Buddy is a local stray aspin in the famous island of Boracay. A few months ago he crossed paths with Emmy Karnot, a German traveler, and thus began their beautiful friendship.
In a status posted by Karnot in the Facebook group Love ASPIN, she writes:
“I love my Aspin ‘Buddy’ so much that I stayed for him a few month longer in the philippines to bring him home with me to germany. I adopted him with 6 weeks in boracay. It was so complicated and expensive to get all the papers he need for germany – sometimes I was so close to give up but with the help of my friends we arrived happy together 6 weeks ago in germany. I couldn’t leave him behind me – I love this little guy so much.”
Karnot documented every step of the way in pictures. From their days playing at the beach, swimming, walking at the park in the city, to the airport with Buddy waiting inside his kennel for their flight. Now, Buddy lives in Germany with his new owner, gleefully playing in the snow with other new found canine friends.
