Legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder just announced to fans during a concert in London last Saturday, July 6, that he will be taking a break from music as he prepares to undergo a kidney transplant in September.

“So what’s gonna happen is this, I’m going to have surgery, I’m going to have a kidney transplant in September of this year,” he told the crowd. “I’m all good, I’m all good, I’m all good. I have a donor, it’s all good.”
“I want you to know I came here to give you my love and to thank you for your love. You ain’t gotta hear no rumors about nothing, I told you what’s up. I’m good. All right?” he added.
Previously, it has been reported that he is currently battling “a serious but manageable health issue” and has been on tour accompanied by a medical team.
