The stars finally aligned on the 4th of July!
Cherir Life Events held its 3rd speed dating event entitled Stellar: A Stargazing Night. The event took place in Verona Roof Deck of Privato Hotel showcasing a magnificent view of Metro Manila night sky. The event was participated by a constellation of young, single, male and female professionals ages 25-35.
An ice breaker game was facilitated to encourage all the participants to move around, meet people and enjoy great conversations. A sorts and mingle game allowed them to get to know people of similar interests and personalities. Afterwards, another challenge was posed to all participants in a game called “When Stars Collide.” Winners were given special prizes.
The speed dating program shortly followed. Each pair would have the opportunity to converse with each other in 4 minutes. Once the time allotted is over, the guys move to the next table to meet a new date. In their matching cards, they decide if it’s a ‘Sparks’ or ‘Friends’? It has to be mutual to declare a successful match.
Before the night ended, a stellar pair among the group was awarded. One male and one female participant who earned the most number of “sparks” were given special prizes.
To cap off this memorable night, each participant brought with him/her a special memory about the event with an acknowledgment activity called ‘You’re Stellar.” Everyone had the chance to write down a positive message, a remarkable memory or some random musings in a dedication note to everyone they met in the evening.
