SOS Children’s Villages Philippines is a home for abandoned, neglected and orphaned children, providing love and care that is usually present in a family-like environment. The organization nurtures its community, most especially its children’s holistic growth and development. These children are sustained by a devoted “mother” under a safe and loving shelter until they are of working age – and these volunteers don’t earn anything! The commitment of this Non-Governmental Organization really inspires me.
