As an official country member of the Startup Nations Global, the Young Entrepreneurs Society Philippines will be launching STARTUP SUMMIT 2016 on August 13 at Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De la Salle University Taft, Manila.
This is an annual non-profit event organized by the Young Entrepreneur Society (YES) Philippines for rising startups with revolutionizing business ideas, entrepreneurs interested to be engaged in useful learnings to run and expand the network of their businesses and investors who are looking for potential businesses to invest in.
This one-day event will be gathering renowned speakers who will share inspiring stories; innovative strategies on how to build a successful startup, raise funds and attract investors.
Furthermore, the summit will also stage a national startup competition. 20 finalists will battle their way up until the 6 best startups in the Philippines emerge. The winning startup will be awarded with free flight and hotel accommodation to STARTUP BOOST CAMP in Sweden this October. Winning this competition will also enable them to represent the Philippines to different business competitions worldwide.
This event is made possible through YES Philippines’ partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Network, Kauffman Foundation and Startup Nations Philippines.
